Northern New Mexico Elk Hunts About Your Elk Hunt

11-14-08 tagged out, so we went snagging for Salmon

We tagged out on Thursday so the gang decided to go to Heron Lake and snag for Salmon. Middle of the day and windy so everyone got some exercise casting.

It was very windy and the wind was cold so I went over to the other side of the cove out of the wind to see what was going on. The wind was coming out of the North West so I headed for the South East part of the cove. I was thinking the dead salmon would be washing up on this part of the cove.

Here is what I found

11-15-08 I went back the next morning hoping to find a Bald Eagle Looking For Some Fresh Salmon. I got lucky and found 3 Bald Eagles & 1 Red Tail Hawk.
